Phyllostachys aureosulcata spectabilis. Some times difficult to find. But if you are lucky enough to have one a most rewarding bamboo indeed. Spectabilis has a lovely form, colourful and robust with custard yellow canes and dark bronze green grooves, sometimes burnished with red on the young growth. This bamboo matures rapidly to become a good performer and shows well if kept in an open position with plenty of sun. Tolerant of acid soil. 5 Litre size pot
