Feng Shui is not a religion, it is not science in the purist meaning of the word. It is more the art and craft of living in harmony with nature and the environment. It blends scientific principals and astrology with Chinese metaphysics and Taoist philosophy, Chinese astrology, experimentation and intuition to evaluate and balance our surroundings and influence our lives for the better. There have been many books written on Feng Shui and there are many different schools of both practice and thought however much remains to be explained properly, and there are controversial questions that still remain to be answered: Other books and papers on Feng Shui have neatly sidestepped the problem or ignored them altogether. Qi Concepts, tries to adjust the balance and offer suggestions coming from a slightly different direction but still based on common sense and fact.
