M15 - Miscanthus Hinjo

Miscanthus sinensis Hinjo. This is a wonderful new cultivar similar to M. ‘Zebrinus’ but significantly smaller in all aspects. Grows 1.6m – 1.8m tall in full flower it never turns floppy. The horizontal yellow bands of variegation are vivid and closely spaced making a stronger impression than other banded Miscanthus especially when viewed from a distance. Miscanthus Hinjo is an excellent choice for smaller gardens. Miscanthus Hinjo is perennial with a long flowering season, outstanding autumn colours and winter interest. Miscanthus Hinjo like sun, moist soil and are generally unfussy.
