M23 - Miscanthus Roland

Miscanthus sinensis Roland. This cultivar is perhaps one of the tallest with a beautiful pink blushed inflorescences that appears in the middle summer months and continues onwards well into the autumn. Excellent in any garden as a feature. Miscanthus Roland does best in a sunny open spot. Tall-growing, foliage reaching 1.4m. Pink-tinted flowers in mid August. Good bold leaves. Crinkly, very pale flower heads on 2.5m stems. Miscanthus Roland prefers free draining soil.
