M12 - Miscanthus Goliath

Miscanthus Goliath. Vigorous large clump. Mass of green foliage in summer paling to a straw coloured gold in the autumn. Miscanthus Goliath has a very distinctive and attractive vase shape with leaves up to 150 cm and with plumes of coppery inflorescence that can reach 75 cm above the foliage. Miscanthus Goliath has divergent foliage and plumes growing up and out in a militarily erect manner which gives this grass great presence with its long red bronze flower plumes ageing in autumn to a silvery brown on stems up to 2.2 m. Miscanthus Goliath prefers fertile moist, well drained soil and full sun for best results
