g5 - Cortaderia selloana Pumila Dwarf Pampas
Add this to My Wish List
Cortaderia selloana Pumila Dwarf Pampas. This garden beauty commands attention wherever it is used. It is more compact standing at 125cm high by 75 cm wide. It produces dense upright silky white flower plumes which last all winter. Tough, beautiful and inexpensive, pampas grass has everything going for it. A plant that can be planted in the ground, given minimal care, and within a year or two it will be transformed into a striking specimen. For dried arrangements there is nothing better than the beautiful plumes of pampas grass. Cut the plumes as soon as possible after they blossom for more durable dried specimens. Prefers fertile well-drained loamy soils. It is a survivor, and will tolerate poor, dry, sandy soils to heavy, damp clays. Best in full sun partial shade. Very drought tolerant once established.
